1. Nature of Digital Products
VIN TraceĀ provides vehicle history reports as digital products. Once a VIN report has been generated and delivered to the email address provided at checkout, the service is considered fully completed.
Due to the nature of digital goods, delivered reports are generally non-refundable, except in limited circumstances outlined in this policy.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may only be considered under the following conditions:
- The report was not delivered due to a verified technical issue on our system
- A duplicate transaction occurred due to a payment error
- The report could not be generated due to system failure
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- The VIN was entered incorrectly during purchase
- The report has already been successfully delivered
- Dissatisfaction based on the content or availability of data within the report
- Delays caused by external data providers or third-party databases
- Change of mind after purchase
4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer
VIN Trace collects data from a range of reliable national and international sources, including government records, insurance databases, and verified automotive providers.
While we strive to ensure high accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is complete or up to date. Users are encouraged to independently verify critical vehicle details before making decisions based on the report.
5. Report Corrections
If you believe your report contains a significant error, you may contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Upon review, we may provide a corrected or updated version of the report at no additional cost where applicable. Please note that issuing a corrected report does not qualify for a refund.
6. Customer Responsibility
By purchasing a VIN report, you agree that:
- You are responsible for entering the correct VIN at checkout
- Reports generated using incorrect or invalid VINs are not eligible for refunds
- The results of the report depend on available data from third-party sources
7. Order Processing and Cancellation
Report generation begins immediately after payment confirmation. As a result, orders cannot be canceled once processing has started.
If your report has already been generated or delivered, it is not eligible for cancellation or refund.
